Do you want to see what happens in the famous Shibuya crossing right now? Well this is now possible with two cameras that stream urban life in the most famous crossroads of the world!

The Japanese website sibch.tv has installed two cameras in the buildings surrounding the Shibuya crossing to broadcast images of this characteristic place of Tokyo city. Both devices continuously transmit on YouTube what is happening in this temple of fashion and many Japanese subcultures.

Shibuya crossing is one of the most emblematic places of Tokyo.

From this point of view, we can observe the perfectly synchronized dance between vehicles and pedestrians, since traffic is alternating in this crossroads of Shibuya Station. Indeed, all the traffic lights are red at the same time for vehicles to let pass the Tokyo pedestrians mass coming and going while crossing in a perfectly calculated pace.

You have the option to change the perspective, with a second camera positioned on the side of Shibuya Station, which is no longer on the screen. Thus you find in the framework the Japan’s most famous Starbuck Coffee (top left of the image), and the Shibuya 109 Men’s shopping center (top center on the screen).

Now, do you want to mingle with the Shibuya crossing crowd?
